The Weinstein Company has released the first trailer for Lawless, the John Hillcoat-directed Prohibition-era crime drama starring Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Guy Pearce and Jessica Chastain. It opens Aug. 31.
Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman, Mia Wasikowska and Jason Clarke have signed on to director John Hillcoat’s Prohibition-era thriller The Wettest County in the World, joining Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy and Jessica Chastain.
Jessica Chastain will star with Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf in John Hillcoat’s adaptation of The Wettest County in the World, a thriller about a notorious gang of moonshiners in Prohibition-era Virginia. Production is set to begin in February.
