Netflix has officially announced the highly anticipated fourth season of Arrested Development will arrive May 26 on the streaming service, reuniting the entire Bluth clan.
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings told investors that the deal to carry new episodes of Arrested Development “is really a fantastic one-off” that won’t be repeated. That means if the comedy continues, it will have to find a new home.
Although some thought it would never happen, production officially begins today on Netflix’s revival of Arrested Development, with all 10 episodes expected to debut simultaneously next year.
Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz told a audience at the National Association of Broadcasters convention that the long-awaited return of the beloved comedy on will pick up where the series left off in 2006, with all 10 episodes premiering the same day on Netflix.
