ABC has cast Battlestar Galactica actress Tricia Helfer to play the lead role in the Sofia Vergara-produced action pilot Killer Women.
Community will get a visit from Battlestar Galactica alum Tricia Helfer, who will guest star as big fan of Inspector Spacetime, the comedy’s Doctor Who-like series.
The pilot for Ronald D. Moore’s magical crime drama 17th Precinct, although passed over by NBC, has made its way online. The serious would have reunited Moore with his Battlestar Galactica stars Jamie Bamber, James Callis and Tricia Helfer.
The actress will play the wife of Jamie Bamber’s crime-scene detective in the NBC police procedural set in a town where science takes a backseat to magic. The cast also includes James Callis, Tricia Helfer, Stockard Channing and Matt Long.
